Happy Hour

I'll talk about the D.C trip tomorrow (it was SOOO much fun), but wanted to get more details out on the happy hour next week. Time has been rushing past the last couple weeks, but it's time to take a break, see some friends and celebrate! Since I'm off chemo -at least for 4 weeks - and Joe's out of the hospital and can walk without a limp, it's time to celebrate :) Next Wednesday the 22 let's meet at the Santorini's in Eden Prairie for Happy Hour. I would like to see YOU. People keep asking what they can do, and I understand the need to want to help, so, well, show up. That will help lift my spirits in ways that gifts and things can't! Let's have some laughs, catch up and have FUN before what little hair there is falls out again.

It was great to hear your voice yesterday. Sorry I was a couple of weeks behind on your blog. I do appreciate your blog very much. Sorry you missed the cherry blossoms. Your trip sounded very relaxing – good for you! Miss you tons! Hugs, Marne

Liz, I have never been on a blog before and signed up just now. I was forwarded this site by Gina Curran (Hansen)who was told by somebody else in Spooner... Word travels... I just wanted to say how good it is to see what a great attitude you have.. I know it isnt easy and you sound so strong... I would not doubt you will beat this cancer with your strong will!!! I can only imagine it is not always easy You have two beautiful daughters. I love the picture of you with you daughter who must be around 6-7 with teeth missing =) Anyway I just wanted you to know I am thinking about you.

Your Spooner High School Friend, Nancy Buchman (Lindstrom)

Hey there, Liz.

As always your journey, strength, hope, humor & determination is ever soooo inspring! Thank you for sharing with us via your blog.

Enjoy HH tomorrow ... too bad there's no web cam for those of us that are near to join the fun in person with you. ;-) Suppose I will raise my glass in your honor tomorrow night @ dinner!

You remain in my thoughts & prayers.

Warmest Regards!

Linda W

Hey Liz. I'm finally catching up after having the girls home for Spring Break. It always seems to take us a week to get back in the groove. Hope you had a great night out.

I'm so happy that your trip to Sloan-Kettering went well. There's nothing like hope, and when it's coming from a Dr. at Sloan-Kettering, it's just awesome news! :) What an unbelievable opportunity for your family to be involved in the White House Egg Roll! Sure beats hunting eggs in the house! Can't wait to hear about your DC trip.
